     9979Presumably, the translated FOAF RDF will reference French-language/culture wordnet classes. Just like the English wordnet world characterized semantics for the English language cut in terms of notions familiar to folk brought up in (global) English, the French wordnet world would presumably characterize the semantics in terms familiar to (global) French culture (cuisine, love, humanities, moral philosophy, etc). The Spanish variant would act similarly (focusing on family, say), as would the Thai (focusing on honor and personal dignity), as would...
