+The websemantic.org French-speaking community wishes to translate the rdfs:label and rdfs:comment of the FOAF spec to french (and so prepare us and the spec for others traductions).
+
+We have got a subversion depot to handle the work, but we wish to know if you ever had think about those issues (http://xmlns.com/foaf/spec/index.rdf has no language informations), and how our work could be linked to yours.
+
+We are thinking of creating a separate file shaped this way :

+  <rdfs:label xml:lang="fr">Personne</rdfs:label>
+  <rdfs:comment xml:lang="fr">Une personne</rdfs:label>

+
+And we think that the FOAF spec could link to a central translations file through rdf:seeAlso URI.
+
+(please note that the FOAF spec would be the first one to be translated, so it will be like a training for us)
